摘要 1,033,120. Winding stators. MICAFIL A.G. Nov. 23, 1964 [Dec. 30, 1963], No. 47623/64. Heading B3A. An attachment for a stator winding machine having a vertically movable winding device, comprises guide members 5 for receiving an unwound field stack, stop means 6 for locating said stack in a preset position relative to said winding means, a carriage 72 for releasably carrying a plurality of winding formers 12 on opposite sides of said stack, means for moving the carriage and hence the formers towards the pole faces of the stack, means 7 for locking the formers at the pole faces of the stack, prior to and during the winding operation, means for withdrawing the carriage from the locked formers prior to the winding operation and for returning the carriage thereby to re-engage the formers after winding, and means for unlocking said formers at the completion of the winding to permit the withdrawal of the formers by the carriage from the stack. The guide rails 5 are fastened across the open ends of U-shaped members 4 supported in brackets 2, 3, Fig. 2 (not shown). A jaw 8 slides in slots 4a in each member 4 and each jaw carries a fork 7 which locks the former 12 during winding. The jaws 8 are reciprocated by cams 19 and 20 through a linkage 23, 26. The winding head 112 reciprocates vertically between the brackets 2, 3 on each of which is mounted a milled nut 34a for securing the free end of the wire. The winding formers each comprise a main body 12 and a clamping piece 35 which is screwed to the body, Fig. 4 (not shown). An aperture 35a passes through the body and the clamping piece. A tongue 35d projecting from each clamping piece 35 passes through one of openings 7a in each arm of the forks 7, so that when the forks are moved away from the stack the ends 7b of the forks engage grooves across the clamping pieces and the formers are locked against the field stack. The formers are moved into and out of the field stack bore by two pairs of carrying fingers 40 and 41. Each pair of fingers is clamped to a guide pin 105 carried by a guide sleeve 103a slidable on a column 90. The upper guide sleeve 103a, Fig. 10 (not shown) is secured to a rod 94 which has a rack 98 secured thereto and the lower guide sleeve 103a is secured to a rod 95 which has a rack 99 secured thereto. Between the racks and meshing with them is a pinion 96, so that rotation of the pinion moves one pair of carrying fingers up and the other pair down. The assembly of carrying fingers and the column 90 is mounted on the carriage 72 for movement transverse the axis of the stator. The rack 99 is reciprocated by a pivoted lever 45, one end of which carries a ball bearing 50A which engages a slot 99A in the rack 99, Fig. 11 (not shown), and the other end of which is engaged by ball bearings 50B and 50C mounted on crank arms 85 and 87 respectively, Fig. 8 (not shown). The ball bearings 50B and 50C also engage an arm 72b integral with the carriage 72 and an arm 74 which is pivotally attached to the carriage and is biased against a peg 76 by a strong spring 77. There is a 90 degree phase difference between the crank arms 85 and 87 which are geared together and produce reciprocation of the carriage 72 as they rotate. Operation.-At the end of a winding operation the ends of the wound coils are gripped by the milled nuts 34a and are severed. A motor 62 is started which drives the crank arms 85, 87 and a shaft 13 carrying the cams 19 and 20. The ball bearing 50B on the arm 85 engages the arm 72b and moves the carriage forward so that the carrying fingers 40 and 41 enter the apertures 35a in the formers. At the same time the ball bearing 50A on the arm 45 enters the slot 99A of the rack 99. The cams 19 and 20 then move the jaws 8 slightly inwards to disengage the arms of the forks 7 from the slots in the clamping pieces 35. As the arm 87 continues to rotate the ball bearing 50C pivots the arm 45 to move the racks 98 and 99 up and down respectively. The carrying fingers 40 and 41 therefore draw the formers out of the bore of the stator. Immediately afterwards the cams 19 and 20 retract the jaws 8 and forks 7 so that the stator can be removed. A limit switch operated by a projection on one of the driving gears switches off the motor. When the motor is switched on again it rotates in the same direction to produce the same movements in the reverse order, and the motor is then switched off by a second projection on the same driving gear.
