PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing an asphalt mixture, which enable the immediate shipment of not only an ordinary mixture but also a cold mixture and warm mix asphalt. SOLUTION: A storage silo 17 for storing the asphalt mixture is provided, and a measuring tank 21 and a mixer 22 are arranged below the storage silo 17. A surge bin 32 for storing cold aggregate is arranged in the side section of the storage silo 17, and a measuring tank 33 is arranged below the surge bin 32. In the shipment of the cold mixture and the warm mix asphalt, a predetermined amount of asphalt mixture paid out from the storage silo 17 is measured and charged into the mixer 22; a predetermined amount of cold aggregate paid out from the surge bin 32 is measured and charged into the mixer 22; and the asphalt mixture is adjusted to a desired temperature by being mixed with the cold aggregate in the mixer 22 for a predetermined time.
