PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate an estimate man-hour with a reduced gap from an actual man-hour by considering the influence of functional customization of a software product on other functions. SOLUTION: A software customization man-hour estimation system comprises a custom specification acquisition part 110 for receiving the input of custom specifications including information on a part to be customized and a customization pattern to be executed, an influence analysis part 111 for matching the custom specifications against an influence pattern table 125 to extract an influence pattern of components influenced by the customization and matching the influence pattern against a component interdependence table 126 to specify software functions influenced by the customization, and a man-hour calculation part 112 for multiplying the number of specified software functions by an additional unit price per influenced function in a customization pattern unit price table 127 to calculate a customization man-hour and outputting it to an appropriate output interface.
