<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic device of an outboard motor for preventing unnatural feeling from being imparted to an operator by stably operating a hydraulic actuator for driving a rotary shaft of the outboard motor and reducing power consumption of electric motors to be driving sources of a hydraulic pump for supplying hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic actuator, to reduce the number of parts, and to simplify the structure of the hydraulic device. <P>SOLUTION: This hydraulic device is provided with two electric motors 64 and 66 to the driving sources of the hydraulic pump 62 for supplying hydraulic fluid to a hydraulic cylinder for steering, detects steering load acting on the hydraulic cylinder for steering, and determines the number of the electric motors to be driven based on the detected steering load to control the driving. A driving shaft 62c of the hydraulic pump 62 and output shafts 64a and 66a of the electric motors 64 and 66 are coaxially arranged, and the driving shaft 62c and the output shafts 64a and 66a are directly connected, to reduce the number of parts and to simplify the structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
