PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine capable of reducing an area of adhesion of a leaking lubricant inside a bottom cover of the sewing machine. SOLUTION: The bottom cover 6 comprises a first lubricant reservoir part 61 disposed on one end side of the bottom cover and under a shuttle mechanism 3, a second lubricant reservoir part 62 disposed on the other end side of the bottom cover 6, with a larger volume than the first lubricant reservoir part 61 and with a bottom located lower than the first lubricant reservoir part 61, and an intermediate part 63 with a guide passage for guiding the lubricant leaking from the first lubricant reservoir part 61 toward the second lubricant reservoir part 62. The guide passage is formed of a bottom inclined in the front/rear direction of the intermediate part 63 and a front inner wall surface.
