<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent failure due to the use circumstance of a memory card by making an information processor manage the use circumstance of a memory card being an auxiliary storage means, and to attain the update of a program or the management of latest data. <P>SOLUTION: In this information processor, an information managing part 110 performs the calculation of the use restriction value and the management of the status of use of an SD card 111(memory card 107) being an auxiliary storage means, and when the status of use of the SD card 111 approaches the use restriction value, the information managing part 110 announces that the life of the SD card 111 is running short and that the SD card 111 should be exchanged to the control panel of equipment or the like.
