PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change an image processing when forming an image by judging whether a radio tag is mounted on a recording medium for image forming. SOLUTION: An image outputting apparatus carries a recording medium and forms an image on a recording medium, and is provided with: an antenna 27 which is arranged in a carrying path between a carrier and a transferring part, emits radio waves to the recording medium to be carried, and is in communication with the radio tag of the recording medium; a radio modulating means for generating radio waves to be sent to the antenna 27 (a modulating circuit 131 of a reader/writer 214); and a radio demodulating means for demodulating radio waves from the antenna 27 (a demodulating circuit 134 of a reader/writer 214).
