PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the vehicle theft from being overlooked as a result of the carelessness of an owner (user) of a car. SOLUTION: This vehicle control system is composed of an on-vehicle monitor device loaded on a vehicle, a terminal device for determining ON/OFF of a security mode, and a vehicle control device for controlling the on-vehicle monitor device to be operated corresponding to the determined security mode. In the security mode being OFF (S111), the on-vehicle monitor device transmits the information that the security mode OFF condition is continued, to the vehicle control device (S113), when the command for the change to the security mode ON is not given from the vehicle control device for a predetermined time from the engine stop of the car (S112). The vehicle control device transmits an electronic male for urging the change to the security mode ON to the terminal device 3 (S115), when the present security mode is OFF (S114). |
