<p>A mechanical handling system has a conveyer consisting of a horizontal parallel array of rollers (2) located over a drive belt (4) that is essentially vertical and powered by a drive unit (11). The drive unit (11) has two rollers (13, 14) whose axis (15, 16) of rotation are essentially upright and located either side of the belt (4). The rollers are transposed with respect to each other. The drive unit presses the belt against the transport roller.</p> |
