PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method and a processing unit which can exhibit the same function as the move to a write-once recording medium recording copy-once contents. SOLUTION: This copy-once content moving method moves the copy-once contents recorded on the write-once recording medium to a different recording medium from the write-once recording medium. Further, when the copy-once content is moved to the different recording medium, the copy-once content moving method records different signals from the signals recorded on a basic information section on the basic information section of the write-once recording medium.
