PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grommet with improved sealing performance. SOLUTION: The grommet 300 is attached between a boot and a fastening band in a one end side of the boot for a constant velocity joint. It has a non-circular inner circumferential face matching an outer circumferential shape of the one end side of the boot, a substantially circular outer circumferential face, and a separation part 310 separated in one portion in a circumferential direction. It is composed such that, in a state of attaching the grommet 300 to an outer circumference of the boot, and before carrying out fastening by the fastening band, tip vicinities of both ends separated by the separation part 310 become more separated from an outer circumferential surface of the boot toward tips.
