PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that since a trimming machine equipped with long trimming blades extended forward from the front part of a main body having a built-in electric motor is heretofore housed in long length as a whole as they are, a large housing space is required and to compactly house a trimming machine of this kind. SOLUTION: The trimming machine has constitution that a pushbutton 50 locking trimming blades 20 and 30 into use positions (the whole length L1) is pushed to an unlocking position so that the trimming blades 20 and 30 are rotated to a rear side to make the whole length L2 (≪L1) shorter than that of the conventional one.
