The present invention can be used in fire alarm systems. The proposed smoke fire detector generates an alarm signal upon increasing the intensity of the scattering of infrared radiation as a result of the increase of the optical density of air when smoke is present. The detector contains two integrators, two Schmitt trigger circuit, an amplifier, and a resistor. The first input of the second Schmitt trigger circuit is connected to the power-supply terminal of the detector via the resistor, and the second input is connected to the output of the amplifier via the second integrator. The proposed fire detector is distinctive by its enhanced and sable sensitivity in different service conditions.
