PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reproduction device which can reproduce image data at the same frame rate as that of image data when received in real time, when the image data in which a frame rate of moving images is equal to or less than 1 frame/sec is once stored on the reception side and the stored image data is reproduced, and which can change a reproduction rate. SOLUTION: When image data transmitted in real time is stored, its reception state is also stored. When the image data stored on the reception side is sent to a decoder, the read is controlled so as to reproduce the reception state to be controlled.
