The process consists of a series of stages: a) plastification of a thermoplastic elastomer material in the screw (2) of an injection press, where a colouring agent can also be added; b) injection through a nozzle (3) into a mould (4) connected to a press by two plates (7); c) compaction and solidification of the stoppers in the mould cavities (6), and d) ejection, collection, inspection and packaging of the stoppers, which can be marked after moulding to personalize them according to a client's requirements. The stoppers are typically cylindrical in shape with bevelled edges, between 35 and 50 mm long and 19 - 24 mm in diameter.
