PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary fixing structure of a U-nut capable of preventing the U-nut temporarily fixed to a panel from the lower side from falling. SOLUTION: In this temporary fixing structure of the U-nut 1, the U-nut 1 comprises a first leg part 3 having a female screw part 3b, a second leg part 4 having a bolt insertion hole 4b, and a bridge part 5 joining the both leg parts 3 and 4 to each other. The U-nut 1 is fitted to the lower end of the panel 2 from the lower side and fixed temporarily. Locking parts (a cutout part 5a and a projected part 2b) engaged with each other and suppressing the movement at least to the lower side of the U-nut 1 are formed in the U-nut 1 and in the panel 2.
