PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit time and effort required for complicated function setting of a second terminal or data transfer in temporarily transferring a right of use of a communication line between first and second portable communication terminals. SOLUTION: When the right of use of the communication line of the first portable communication terminal is temporarily transferred to the second portable communication terminal, the first portable communication terminal lends "the right of use of the communication line" and transmits information indicating "setting of functions to be inherited to the second terminal" to the second terminal, and to suppress use of the right of use of its own communication line. The second portable communication terminal uses the "right of use of the communication line" received from the first terminal instead of "right of use of its own communication line". The second terminal temporarily suspends the present function setting if it is set, and utilizes the information indicating "setting of functions to be inherited to the second terminal" instead of the its own function setting.
