PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hairdressing agent that has excellent hair dressing power and hair dressing duration and yet controls feeling of stiffness and feeling of greasiness. SOLUTION: The hairdressing agent comprises a polymer resin compound, a oligosaccharide derivative and/or a sugar alcohol derivative. The derivative is a polyoxyethylene adduct having 4-14 number of addition moles of ethylene oxide. A polyvinylpyrrolidone, an acrylic acid octylamide-acrylic acid hydroxypropyl-methacrylic acid butylaminoethyl copolymer, an N-methacryloyloxyethyl N,N-dimethylammonium-α-N-methylcarboxybetaine-methacrylic acid alkyl ester copolymer, a vinyl acetate-vinylpyrrolidone copolymer, a vinylpyrrolidone-N,N-dimethylaminoethyl methacrylic acid copolymer or an acrylic resin alkanolamine is preferable as the polymer resin compound.
