NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SOLUTION AND BATTERY USING THIS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte solution realizing a battery, especially, a nonaqueous electrolyte battery endowed with discharge characteristics under low temperature and discharge characteristics under a high output, and to provide a battery using the same.

SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte solution contains a nonaqueous solvent, electrolyte salt, and polysiloxane expressed in formula (1) as essential components. Here, in the formula, R1is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R2is either a methyl group, ethyl group, propyl group, or acetyl group, m is an integer of 3 to 6, and n is an integer of 1 to 6.
