PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase dust proof property, waterproof property and impact resistance of a book-type storage case. SOLUTION: The storage case 1 comprises a case body 3 provided with a cartridge storing part 2 to store a cartridge 301 and a lid 6 which is jointed to the case body 3 by thin hinges 5 in an rotationally openable and closable state via a back part 4. The lid 6 is provided with a periphery wall 7. The tip part 7a of the periphery wall 7 is formed in a circular arc and an elastic deformable state. On the other hand the case body 3 is provided with a recessed channel 8, with which the tip part 7a of the periphery wall 7 is engaged, on the inner surface of the main surface 3a. The cross section of the recessed channel 8 is formed in a circular arc. When the lid 6 is closed, the tip part 7a of the periphery wall 7 is engaged with the recessed channel 8 and is deformed elastically along the inner surface of the recessed channel 8 to close the space between the tip part 7a of the periphery wall 7 and the main surface 3a of the case body 3.
