PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data management system that easily reflects added data onto original data during presentation and confirms only the added data in an image projection apparatus. SOLUTION: The image projection apparatus 1 includes an interface 27, a projecting light source 11, an LCD system or DLP system 15, a signal processing circuit 23, a system drive circuit 24, a correction circuit 33, and a projection lens 25. The apparatus 1 projects a projection image onto a screen 41. A photographing device 31 having a CCD imaging device and so on in association with the image projection apparatus 1 and directed in the projecting direction is disposed. By making optical axes coincide in one direction, the projection image and a photographic image can be made coincide in one direction in disposition on a system. This facilitates image alignment.
