A heat exchanger having a casing, where a joint of the casing and a gap between a core (5) and the casing are brazed and fixed with no space between. Both ends of an upper edge section (8) of a header plate (3) are in contact with a casing body (1), and the cross-section of the portions of both ends is formed to have a right angle. An upper lid (2) is fitted so as to be in contact with the upper edge, across its entire length, of the header plate (3). |
