<p>A spigot which connects a tap to a barrel has an elastic inner tube (2) with a smooth inner diameter (4) without recesses and with a profiled outer shape. A clamp system is fitted over the outer shape and comprises a sleeve (13) holding a sealing ring (16) and an elastic sleeve (17) as well as a threaded adjusting ring (15) which compresses or releases the grip. The system includes grip elements (19) which are clamped into axial grooves (10) and an inner axial sprung support (9) for a stepped clamping ring (21). The tap is fitted to the outer end of the spigot by a threaded connection (3).</p> |
