The source (3a) has a set of infrared light-emitting diodes (LEDs) divided on two lines and arranged in a manner to light a zone situated in front of a vehicle (1) with infrared rays. The LEDs are arranged at a distance from light signaling devices such as a headlight, a fog light, a backup light, and a taillight. The distance is greater than dimension of the nearest light signaling device. An independent claim is also included for an infrared night vision system for a vehicle. |
