The weapon has a body (1) with a weapon guiding unit, and a multitude of bomblets (6, 7, 8). Cables (9, 10, 11) connecting each bomblet with the body limit the separation of each bomblet from the body following launching of the bomblet. A pair of winglets (12) radially disperses the bomblets in the limits defined by the cables so that the body is at the front during the flight and guides the multitude of bomblets towards a target. The bomblets are initially maintained before launching in stowed relation with respect to the body and liberated after launching from the stowed relation
