PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oral composition having improved in taste, wherein bitter taste, which has been conventionarily regarded as a problem, such as astringent taste, acridity, body taste, and/or various kinds of after taste of tea containing catechins is alleviated so as to become extremely easily taken. SOLUTION: The oral composition contains 0.1-10 wt.% of taurine and catechin derived from plants. The composition is reduced in bitter taste which is conventionarily regarded as a problem and to which a user gets sensitive when taking a large amount of catechin. The composition can be ingested easily, and enables the user to easily receive the full benefit of the catechin through taking a large amount. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
