PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device capable of carrying a recording sheet by using an endless belt possible to be carried by small-diameter rollers, capable of accurately carrying the recording sheet, while miniaturizing the device and reducing thickness thereof, and capable of printing over the whole surface of the recording sheet without leaving a margin and without hindering printing quality. SOLUTION: This printing device is provided with a pressure-contact member 3 to be brought in pressure-contact with a thermal head 1, the endless belt 10 stretched around a first, a second and a third rollers arranged in parallel with the pressure-contact member, a driving means 11 for driving the first roller 4, and a fourth and a fifth rollers rotatably supported to pinch the endless belt between the second and the third rollers. The thermal head performs printing on the recording sheet carried from a pressure-contact part between the third and the fifth rollers to a pressure-contact part between the second and the fourth rollers through the pressure-contact part of the thermal head with the pressure-contact member.
