<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a message for rights object processing in a digital copyright management system wherein an authenticated user can return partially used or unused rights object for a digital content, or can transmit it to other users, and a method and a system for processing rights object using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The rights object (RO) processing method in the digital copyright management system includes the steps of: transmitting an RO submit request message for the digital content from a first device to a rights issuance server, analyzing the RO submit request message with the rights issuance server, and transmitting the rights object to a second device by the rights issuance server from the analysis result while indicating that the RO submit request message is a message to request transmission of the rights object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
