PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems, wherein the mark of each casing cannot be seen from the front and a carved seal cannot be read easily at a stage when the assembly of each equipment is completed, when putting a carved seal and a label to the casing of each equipment, in a general type of compound equipment in which a plurality of pieces of equipment are assembled. SOLUTION: In a copying machine 1 in which a first casing 11 and a second one 12 are assembled, a special mark is formed on the outer surface of the second casing 12 by a carved seal. In the mark, the shape of a formal mark is changed where a group of characters "LOCK" are drawn in a general type. When the second casing 12 is assembled as one portion of the copying machine 1, the direction of one's eyes is set in which it is predicted that a user sees the special mark, and the shape of the special mark, as seen from the front, is set to be the shape in which the aspect ratio of the shape, where the formal mark is seen from the front, is changed.
