PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve selection accuracy in the case of diversity processing. SOLUTION: A first demodulation section 24 demodulates a signal outputted from a first RF section 12 via a pre-processing section 22. A second demodulation section 26 performs demodulation similar to the above. A derivation section 30 derives EVMs of a plurality of signals demodulated by the first demodulation section 24 and the second demodulation section 26, respectively in a known signal portion. A decision section 34 compares two EVMs derived by the derivation section 30 and selects a smaller EVM. Furthermore, the combination of the first RF section 12 or a second RF section 24 and an antenna 10 corresponding to the selected EVM is notified to a selection section 28. The selection section 28 outputs a signal inputted from the first demodulation section 24 or a signal inputted from the second demodulation section 26 according to an instruction from the decision section 34.
