This invention discloses an accelerating admixture for hydraulic binders comprising of: a) the reaction products of an alkali metal inorganic substance reacting with a mixture of a carboxylic and/or a hydrohalogenic acid; b) aluminium sulfate; c) a manganese salt; d) amorphous aluminium hydroxide; and optionally containing: e) a lithium salt; and/or an amino acid or an amino acid aluminium salt or a mixture of aluminium sulfate with an amino acid.
