<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming apparatus capable of steadily detecting and measuring chromaticity and accurately correcting color tone. <P>SOLUTION: The color image forming apparatus includes image forming means for forming developer images in a plurality of colors, and a fixing unit 61 for fixing the developer images onto a recording sheet P under heat and pressure.
