<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-pressure mercury discharge lamp of a type with a globe capable of sharing a case with a type without a globe. <P>SOLUTION: A compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp 100 of a type with a globe is equipped with a double spiral arc tube 110, a bottomed cylindrical holder 150 holding the arc tube 110, a case 180 formed so as to cover a cylindrical part 151 of the holder 150, and a globe 135 covering the arc tube 110. The case 180 has, on its inside surface, two pairs (totally four) of engagement parts 185, 186, 187 and 188 facing to each other in its diameter direction. The holder 150 has, on its peripheral surface, parts 176 and 177 to be engaged only with a set of the engagement parts 185 and 187 out of a plurality of set of the engagement parts 185, 186, 187 and 188 of the case 180. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
