<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a polysulfone-based permselective hollow fiber membrane with high safety and performance stability and excellent module assemblability, which is suitable for a blood purifier provided with high water premeability to be used for treating a chronic kidney failure. <P>SOLUTION: In the polysulfone-based permselective hollow fiber membrane composed of a polysulfone resin and hydrophilic macromolecules as main components, (a) the content of the hydrophilic macromolecules in the most surface layer of a blood contact side surface in the polysulfone-based hollow fiber membrane is 1.1 times or more of the content of the hydrophilic macromolecules in the surface vicinity layer of the blood contact side surface, (b) the content of the hydrophilic macromolecules in the most surface layer of the surface opposite to the blood contact side in the polysulfone-based hollow fiber membrane is 1.1 times or more of the content of the hydrophilic macromolecules in the most surface layer of the blood contact side surface, (c) the permeability of a polyvinylpyrrolidone having weight average molecular weight of 40,000 is 75% or less, and (d) the permeability of albumin in cow plasma system is less than 0.3%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
