PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery equipped with a thermosensitive means that can perceive visually the existence of an exothermic abnormality by the change of hue in a sheathing material at the time of a sudden increase in the inner temperature of the battery. SOLUTION: This secondary battery is equipped with the thermosensitive means on the outer face of the secondary battery in which a color changes by the temperature of the battery, and the thermosensitive means preferably changes the color when the temperature of the battery is 80°C or higher, and the color can be changed continuously in accordance with the change of the temperature in the battery.
