<p>The invention is based on the problem how to provide a considerable easing of the load jerkiness, particularly at the beginning and end of the operating stroke for a modern and relatively efficient device for longitudinal cleaving of wood, including a tandem of alternating operating hydraulic cylinders (1, 2), despite keeping the adequately high pressure force of the cleaving mean during the operational stroke in the longitudinal direction, which would make the requirements regarding the rigidity of the device assembly less stringent than usually, thus making the device much lighter, while on the other side the hydraulic system would be exposed to less pressure and thermal loads thus making the operation of the device adequately more reliable. The hydraulic generator of the device for longitudinal cleaving of wood includes a tandem of alternating operating hydraulic cylinders (1, 2), a reservoir (4), a hydraulic pump (5) and a manifold (6) for alternating supply of the hydraulic media into the corresponding hydraulic cylinder (1, 2), where inside the piston (11, 21) there is at least one transverse passage (114, 214) and at least one transverse passage (115, 215) connected to it by which the reservoir (4) of the hydraulic media can be via an interface (14, 24) on the cylinder (1, 2) head (13, 23) directly hydraulically linked to the interior of the cylinder (1, 2) enclosure (12, 22).</p> |
