PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a locking device for a game machine which prevents a front surface door from being opened without permission, provides a visual crime prevention effect, and eliminates an attachment/detachment work in exchanging machines. SOLUTION: The locking device for the game machine is the locking device for the game machine 1 having the front surface door 2 which is pivotally arranged in a machine support body 3 in a forward opening state. The machine support body 3 includes a locking means (r) which is moved to a lock position in the neighborhood or front of the front surface door 2 in the case of the open lock of the front surface door 2 to prevent the opening of the front surface door 2 and moved to a non-lock position for permitting the opening of the front surface door 2 from the lock position in the case of the open non-lock of the front surface door 2.
