#CMT# #/CMT# The device (1) for a fiber to the home system or a fiber to the office system selectively couples a number of first glass fibers (4) with a number of second glass fibers (5). It comprises a coupling panel (2) which on a first side is provided with a number of first connecting points (6) for the connection of the first glass fibers and is also provided with a number of second connecting points (7), corresponding to the first connecting points, for the connection of the second glass fibers. #CMT# : #/CMT# The coupling panel is provided with connector blocks (3) for connection of first glass fibers to second such fibers. On each connector block eight first and eight second glass fibers are connected. The first glass fibers conduct incoming signals from providers, such as telephone, cable and internet, whereby the second glass fibers are each connected with a user/subscriber. Each first class fiber is connected with a first connecting point by means of a plug (8).
