<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator good for dust-proofing effects as well as high splash-proofing effects and usable in a food processing site, e.g., where water splashes, without any trouble. <P>SOLUTION: The actuator comprises a housing approximately U-shaped with an opening portion, a driving means provided in the housing, a slider movably provided on the housing, consisting of an inside slider member and an outside slider member detachably connected to the inside slider member via a seal rake-off portion, and adapted to be driven by the driving means, a driving means cover installed between the inside slider member and the outside slider member of the slider for covering the opening portion of the housing, and a dust-proof/splash-proof sealing means installed between the housing and the driving means cover and constructed with a seal portion having a pair of sealing members opposed to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
