Invention relates to the field of working metals by pressure, in particular, to cold deformation of components from high-strength aluminum alloys. The method of increasing the plasticity of components from high-strength aluminum alloys includes their working by pressure impulses, which are generated by high-voltage electrical discharges in the water. At this, the part is additionally elastically deformed by loading device, the value of deformation force is measured and elastic strains in the part are determined, then the parameters of electrical discharges are defined by experimental way. The invention provides for increase of plasticity of parts achieved directly during their deformation.
