PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device, a method and a program capable of performing quick and proper route guidance corresponding to the state even when a detouring cause on a guide route including a detour is changed, and having excellent safety and amenity. SOLUTION: A display part 10 is not only a display means for displaying simultaneously the guide route and the detour but also a determination result display means for displaying only either of the guide route and the detour at the point when approaching the detour, and also performs a roll as as an informing means for informing of the detouring cause. A route calculation part 42 performs rolls of a guide route setting means and a detour setting means, and generates route data 45 and detour data 46.
