PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator rotor having a rotor corrected of rigidity asymmetry. SOLUTION: A brake winding (30) has (i) a plurality of conductive rings (33) concentric with the rotational axis (12) of a magnetic core (11), and (ii) a plurality of bars (31, 32) extending in parallel with the rotational axis (12) of the magnetic core (11) and coupled with respective rings (33). Radial outside surface of each bar (31, 32) is coupled with each radial inside surface of the ring (33). The spindle (18) of the magnetic core (11) has first and second flat surfaces (18a, 18b) extending perpendicularly to the direct axis of the magnetic core (11).
