PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a present Western-style toilet bowl is designed to only sit on and hard for a user to strain himself or herself to easily cause constipation, whereas the manufacturing of a Japanese-style toilet bowl for a house is kept stopped because it fatigues the user to get unsteady when standing up and soils the periphery of the toilet bowl and the legs with a splash of flushing. SOLUTION: This footrest provided for putting the feet thereon to take a Japanese-style posture on the Western-style toilet bowl is extremely simple in structure and has an effect of naturally urging a call of nature. The user can have a try also while urinating to prevent constipation to thereby solve the problem.
