PURPOSE: A method to control the rinsing of a washing machine is provided to reduce washing time by supplying water during rotating a washtub in a rinsing stroke, and to prevent the tangle of the laundry by using a loosing current in the early and the last rinsing step. CONSTITUTION: A method to control the rinsing of a washing machine comprise the steps of; discharging wash water used in a washing step, and rotating a washtub to dehydrate laundry; supplying water during rotating the washtub when dewatering is finished; determining whether the water level of the wash water supplied into the washtub reaches a standard water-level or not; and rinsing the laundry during repeating the drive and the stop of a washing motor when the wash water is supplied to the standard water-level. The step to rinse the laundry comprises the steps of; repeating the drive and the stop of the wash motor, and rinsing the laundry using a loosing current generated by making driving time shorter than stopping time; rinsing the laundry by using a main current generated by making the driving time longer than the stopping time; and rinsing the laundry by using the loosing current generated by making the driving time shorter than the stopping time. A ratio of required time to carry out the early, the middle and the last rinsing is 1:1:0.5. |
