PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a PDP of small electric power consumption in which both a heat dissipation characteristic and an impact resistance are made compatible. SOLUTION: This is the plasma display panel which is provided with a front face plate 10 in which a plurality of display electrodes 12 are formed on one face of a transparent plate board 11 and in which a protection film layer 16 is formed on the other face, and the rear face plate 20 which is faced with the protection film layer 16 of the front face plate 10 via a discharge space 30, and in which a transparent protection plate board 18 is arranged on the display electrode 12 side of the front face plate 10 via an impact absorbing sheet 26, and in which the transparent protection plate board 18 is provided with a plurality of conductive parts 26b to make conductive a space formed by the impact absorbing sheet 26, the front face plate 10, and the transparent protection plate board 18, and the outer space.
