<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen concentrator which can be used even when a patient is at home and/or out (including the time of moving in a car or the like). <P>SOLUTION: The oxygen concentrator comprises a compression means for compressing air taken in from an air intake port, an adsorption means for adsorbing prescribed components other than oxygen inside the compressed air inside an adsorption cylinder and removing them from the compressed air, and a product tank for storing concentrated oxygen from which the prescribed components are removed, and can be operated by an attachable and detachable battery. A pressure adjusting means is provided on the downstream side of the product tank and an opening valve is provided in a discharge flow path for discharging the adsorbed components other than the oxygen further. The pressure adjusting means is provided with a filter formed in a hole diameter≤100μm (micrometers), and the vacuum degree of a pressure inside the flow path can be adjusted by operating the opening valve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
