The device has a nut fixed on an end part of a fixed rail (32) of a slide (30) and having a tapered part engaging with a threaded part of a pin. An assembling unit is interposed between a transmission unit (80), which rotates the pin, and an end part of a mobile rail (36) of the slide for fixing the unit (80) on the end part. The assembling unit has a dampening unit for attenuating noise and vibrations of the unit (80).
