METHOD OF PREVENTING FADING OF TAR COLORANT AND TAR COLORANT-CONTAINING COMPOSITION WITH PREVENTED FADING

It is intended to provide a method of preventing a tar colorant from fading. Namely, it is intended to provide a method of preventing the fading phenomenon of a tar colorant inherently occurring in a composition containing (a) the tar colorant and (b) a reducing sugar, ascorbic acid or its homolog or a metal. This method can be established by adding to the above composition (c) at least one member selected from the group consisting of isoquercitrin, enzymatically treated isoquercitrin, rutin, enzymatically treated rutin, bayberry extract and rosemary extract so as to allow the components (a) and (b) as described above to coexist with the component (c).
