PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional method that it is possible to release only at a lapse of designated seconds after photographing is tried even when the photographing is suddenly made under the setting of remote control photographing because the remote control photographing is effective only in a self-timer photographing mode. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus disclosed herein can independently set settings of a self photographing mode and a remote control photographing mode and is provided with a 2-mode switching means.
