PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar system provided with a means for removing an FMAM noise without lowering signal detection sensitivity, as to the radar system, in particular, in the on-vehicle radar system used in collision alarm or the like. SOLUTION: In this radar system for obtaining a distance and a relative speed from a beat signal obtained by switching a frequency modulated signal with a switching signal to be transmitted, by receiving a signal reflected by a target object to be mixed with the transmission signal after switching it with the second switching signal, and by mixing it with the third switching signal, the second switching signal and the third switching signal have the same switching frequency, and have a prescribed phase difference for canceling-removing an amplitude modulated component included in the frequency modulated signal.
